All travel agencies issuing Finnish domestic tickets including OB fees.
May 09, 2012
At time of issuance, Amadeus will compute the VAT amount on the OB fees amount.
The VAT amount will be extracted from the OB fees amount and displayed in
- the passenger receipt (ITR)
- the agent coupon
- the sales reports (TJD-TJS-TJI)
The VAT amount will be reported in the Amadeus Interface Record (A.I.R.) through the ATF line and via the RET file record IT05 in the TMFT and TMFA fields.
The VAT rules will be filed in the VAT Box by the airline.
- Travel agencies will be able to give full transparency to customers providing the breakdown of the VAT applied on OB fees.
Detailed description: Passenger receipt
à Agent Coupon
The processing change will be applied only on PNR in which, either the validating carrier or a participating carrier has subscribed to this new option. The carrier must be an Altéa e-Ticket Synchroniser user.
The FHE entry will not be modified. Only the display of the FHE will be enhanced, in some cases, adding coupon-segment associations. This new display will happen if the processing is able to deduce the coupon-segment matching in a best effort basis.
April 19th, 2012.
Enhanced display for the FHE element
Provides a visual indication that a match has been found between the PNR segments and the e-ticket coupons while not affecting the FHE entry usage.
Airlines that have subscribed to the Altéa e-Tichet Synchroniser product can open a work order to have this
feature activated for their manual match process.
Mr and Mrs Doe are traveling from Helsinki to London to Helsinki and then from Helsinki to Moscow to Helsinki. Mr and Mrs Doe had previously booked tickets from Helsinki to London on the 21st of May returning on the 23rd, but they decided to change the dates of his journey.
The FHE line is added with no additional segment-coupon information.
--- RLR ---
The system was able to find segment-coupon matches and add them to the FHE line. Note that the system was able to match segments 3-4 with coupons 1-2 even though the dates did not perfectly match, as the routing and booking class were the same, and all those segments and coupons were not already associated.
--- RLR ---
New FHE element processing for manually entered FHE element transactions:
With the new process, if the validating airline or a participating airline are Altéa E-Ticket Synchroniser users, and have activated this feature, entering an FHE with only the ticket number (and with or without passenger), will do additional matching checks and add the segment-coupon associations to the FHE lines display. The processing will look for similar itineraries (same routing with the same city pair) amongst non-associated segments and coupons and will not consider the date or the booking class as a matching criteria.
- If there is a match, the FHE element will be updated with the relevant segment-coupon associations.
- If the process fails in finding matching segments-coupons, the FHE will be entered as it currently does, i.e. without segment-coupon associations.

- Sell from Neutral Availability and Long Sell allowed for TLA segments.
Ticketless Access benefits: Amadeus Ticketless Access is a breakthrough solution for distributing the
Low Cost Carriers through a full booking process, seamlessly integrated within your existing workflow.
The Sell enhancement applies to all TLA airlines.
Short Sell for TLA flights will be possible from Amadeus Neutral Availability:
The Amadeus end-user will be able to select a flight and a booking class, sell and create a PNR from the Amadeus neutral availability screen where TLA flight availability is shown, whether numeric posting level is provided or not.
Long Sell for TLA flights will be possible:
The Amadeus end-user will also be able to request a Long Sell targeting a Ticketless Access flight and create a PNR without going through a TLA availability entry ACW / AW. The interactive get availability message will be sent to the airline at sell time to ensure the seats requested are available and schedule information are reliable.
However no space is reserved and confirmed in the TLA carrier inventory before EOT, as per the current TLA process. (The NN status code means the segment has not been validated and paid for yet)
Numeric posting level at Neutral availability for some TLA airlines
The Amadeus end-user will get real TLA flight availability from the Neutral Availability and Schedule displays.
- EasyJet, Air Asia and bmibaby will be displayed with numeric posting levels
- Other TLA carriers will be deployed later and will keep “A” as a posting level indicating flight available.

- Terms and conditions
- List of available actions (dependent on the aggregator's status)
Click on the Register Now link. If you already have credentials with the aggregator, enter them in the login section and click on Submit to access the aggregator content.

Customer Value: As only the most important fare restrictions are returned in Mini Rules, the traveller can quickly and easily understand the restrictions that apply to his fare. This increases customer satisfaction and agent productivity as travellers will be more independent and will request less help from agents, allowing them to spend time on more productive activities like sales.
Amadeus Mini Rules targets all travel agency segments. The product is activated individually by customers, and can be used worldwide. It will be integrated in all Front Office products as well as provided via Web Service.
Easy customisation and translation
Amadeus Mini Rules data are returned in a structured message which is an unique feature, via dedicated web services. Amadeus' structured format allows for easy translation and text formatting whereas Travelport's Mini Rules are only in English and non customizable.
Available at/after pricing time
Amadeus Mini Rules are available through WBS, Offers Notice, AeTM (and soon in SELL, AeRE, API, Cryptic and Itinerary Notice). Travelport’s mini rules are in cryptic only. Amadeus Mini Rules data are available after itinerary pricing or repricing request (including ATC) and from TST. Travelport’s Mini Rules are at the display stage where as Amadeus Mini Rules are at/after pricing.
100% up-to-date summary of the most important conditions applicable to the ticket
Amadeus Mini Rules are dynamically processed from the exact restrictions that are applied during the pricing. This assures 100% up-to-date information, whereas Travelport's Mini Rules suffer from the same limitation as the standard FQN: FQN text is sent separately from the airlines filing to the GDSs by ATPCO.
